Decisions, Decisions, Decisions
There are so many decisions to make every single day. From what to wear, hair, what to eat, which route to take, what do I need to bring, etc. I can remember thinking as I became an adult that I didn't even really know what I wanted to be when I grew up. I cannot really remember some of the things that I said as far as a career path went. As you might recall from last week's post I surely knew what I didn't want.
In my junior year in high school I started out in applying to college's in the arts of design because I did enjoy designing my own prom dress. I was terrible at sewing, but surely could put together a look. So I recruited my Mom to do the sewing and it was so beautiful.
After being accepted into an out of state school and declining because it was too far from family I opted to go to ULL formerly USL at the time for an education in Administrative Assistant. It was a short 2 year program, until it wasn't.
Once I found out about them changing it to a 4 year course and I was supposed to have been advised that I was grandfathered into the 2 year program I got angry and quit. Fast forward to 2002 I re-enrolled and low and behold found my passion in the arts afterall...Soft Sciences aka Liberal Arts (Psychology, Sociology). I did go on to graduate school and obtained my Masters in...you guessed it "Arts" (Human Services).
As I continue on this journey of life, I'm becoming extremely clear about several things. Being able to make decisions has become somewhat of an "art" form for me. I am so focused on the present conversation that I'm having with myself and I'm no longer attached to outcomes, which allows me to make an even more aligned decision.
Once I make a decision about what my deep desire is...and deeply feel that without without an ounce of wobble or fear in that belief system, you can bet that the thing, experience, choice is already on the way to join me.
So what I am saying is that decisions are the foundation for your designed life. I cannot tell you how important it is to keep your vibe, focus, clarity, and stressless in check. Unlocking the creative part of your brain and allowing what's possible or what life could be like actually starts the motivation center. The reward zone. This is the piece that will set your choices free and your procrastination into action.
These are some keys that will unlock your stuck. So yes you do need to make decisions and that's why being organization and systems are super important. Otherwise, how will you decide that you get to live an amazing life. When you unlock it for yourself, you unlock it for others in your family line.
I Love You.
