We are two weeks into 2019 and I am wondering how your resolutions going? For many, this is about the time that the reality of the "same old, same old" sets in. One of the reasons this happens is because the new habit is not permanent yet and it takes active, conscious effort. When you are already worked to the limits of your mind and body then it is hard to add one more thing to your plate. What if, this time you understood "why" it is so important for you to keep at it? What if each time you caught yourself taking the old road or justifying not doing that new thing or new thinking you could tell yourself "why" it is important to keep at it.
Taking small steps actually leads to big results if you are consistent. Consistent doesn't have to be All or Nothing though. It first starts with the idea, then the why, then the belief that this will work, then the excitement and attention to the results that you are getting. Regardless of how small or how many times you did not do it at 100% give it another attempt and if your why is strong enough you will say HOORAY 2019 has been the most amazing year ever. I am powerful beyond measure. :)
